About Me

I'm an 18 year old student who has been blessed to be able to travel frequently and learn about different cultures. I have a lot of Canadian pride (born and raised Toronto), but I love falling in love with different places. I like to think that I am a kind and friendly person, who adores meeting new people and having a good time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is such a cool opportunity to make friends whilst experiencing a new community through the eyes of someone who is familiar with it. You're able to make real life bonds with a country and its people, that you wouldn't be able to do if you were living in a hotel; a place which is catered towards tourists. I'm the type of person who lives off the beaten path, and I want to immerse myself into culture and have memorable unique experiences.

Interests

I enjoy making jokes, eating weird foods, writing and drawing random things, horseback riding and taking pictures of everything. (I'm slightly obsessed with immortalizing every event in my life through photos and videos.)

Music, Movies, and Books

Ouu this is tough. My favourite band is Led Zeppelin, my favourite movie is Inglourious Basterds and my favourite book is Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. (Granted, these are my favourites at this current moment, who knows how I feel in an hour, let alone a day.) Also I'm not picky at all when it comes to music, I literally listen to country music, to hardcore rap, to jazz, I'm never phased by genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I think I've ever done is leave home and move half way across the world. Scared the life out of me but I did it. It has allowed everyday to become a new amazing experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope I can share my optimism and good spirit with you. As long as I'm around you'll always have a friend, and I promise to try and make you laugh (well at least crack a smile).
