About Me
Hi! I’m Amaliana, a stay-at-home mom currently living in Malaysia. I used to be someone who loved traveling, exploring new places, and meeting people from different cultures. These days, life looks a little different — I spend most of my time at home taking care of my little family, and honestly, I’m enjoying this season of life in a different way.
I live with my husband and our two little boys (a toddler and a baby), so my home is often filled with laughter, a bit of chaos, and lots of love. Becoming a mom has changed me in many ways, but it hasn’t taken away my curiosity about the world — it just made me experience it differently.
I love connecting with people through stories. I enjoy sharing experiences about life, marriage, parenting, and especially food! I’m always excited to learn about different cultures, traditions, and everyday life from others. Even though I’m not traveling as much as I used to, I feel like Couchsurfing brings the world a little closer to me.
My husband can speak French, so if you happen to speak French too, you might enjoy exchanging stories and conversations with him as well.
I’m a good listener, easygoing, and I truly appreciate meaningful conversations — whether it’s light and fun or deep and reflective. If you stay with us, expect a cozy, family-oriented environment and genuine connection.
Looking forward to meeting kind souls from around the world 🤍

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I want to stay connected with the world and with people. As a mom, I spend most of my time at home, and while I truly enjoy this phase of life, I don’t want to feel isolated or stuck.
I love hearing stories from travelers — their journeys, cultures, and experiences. It helps me learn, grow, and see the world from different perspectives, even when I’m not traveling myself.
Since getting married, I don’t have as many friends around me as I used to, so Couchsurfing is also my way of building meaningful connections and friendships from different parts of the world.
For me, it’s not just about hosting or meeting people — it’s about sharing stories, learning from each other, and feeling connected beyond borders.

What I Can Share with Hosts
What I can share with guests is a warm, simple, and genuine home experience.
I may not be traveling much right now, but I can offer meaningful conversations, a listening ear, and real-life stories about family, marriage, and everyday life. I enjoy deep talks as well as light, fun conversations.
You’ll also get a glimpse of a multicultural life — as someone living between Indonesian and Malaysian culture. I’m happy to share about food, daily routines, and simple home experiences that you might not find in typical travel settings.
My home is family-oriented, so you’ll experience a cozy environment filled with little moments, laughter, and authenticity.
If you’re looking not just for a place to stay, but for real connection, stories, and a sense of home — I’d be happy to share that with you.
