About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet new people, explore new places
ABOUT ME
I grew up with French as my first language and I'm proud to say I've worked hard to remain fully bilingual. Both languages are part of who I am and of my culture. Having moved around in my early years, I really appreciate meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Work has kept me busy over the last couple years, and I've replaced international travel with exploring locally. I love to get out of the city, camp, hike, bike and swim. Any chance I get I try and head out and explore.
PHILOSOPHY
Keeping an open mind...so much to learn, explore and discover.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed in Quebec and upstate NY for a couple weeks. I was so impressed by the generosity that I've started hosting since.
Interests
Road trips, camping, hiking, biking, swimming, sitting around a camp fire. In the city, BBQ's are my favorite. During our colder months, I tend to retreat inside.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music from all around the world, something with a good beat. Music that's a little different from the usual.
Although I can loose interest in a book really fast, I love reading about Psychology, Finance and Politics.
Movies: I've always been drawn to intricate plot lines with deeper themes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Notable moments include spotting tiny little icebergs of the coast of Newfoundland in the summer, hiking deserted trails in south Algonquin Park and going to the edge of the desert in Morocco.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn and I'm a motivated student. I invest myself fully in what I set my mind to. When it comes to French, I prefer not to teach it formally but rather through conversation with anyone who's willing to talk.
