I am Zénó from Hungary. I'm a university student and a fellow traveler.

The fuel of my motivation is the curiosity to see the world and its cultures. I'm passionate about seeing the nuances that differentiate us, yet bring us together – from music to cuisine. My 6-month volunteering in Brazil was a life-changer. It affirmed my belief that the best investments I can make are in experiences, not material possessions. Thus, I've committed to spending my resources on traveling and immersing myself in diverse cultures.

I'm a sports enthusiast for any ball game, cycling, or skateboarding. My love for cinema extends beyond just watching - I adore making films and anything related to it. Off the screen, I'm often found playing board games, strumming tunes on my ukulele or guitar, drumming away, or learning new music pieces.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

When I heard about couchsurfing I was travelling in Sri Lanka. Two friendly guys told me about it and I was like: "So it's a platform with a bunch of cool people who help others and let them stay with them in their home? Wow it's amazing I want to try that!"

Besides based on my experiences the best way to explore a country and a culture is to meet locals and learn their ways of living.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I spent six months volunteering in Brazil within a community dedicated to helping people overcome addiction and reclaim their lives. This time profoundly shifted my perspective on the world. I listened to countless life stories, learned to appreciate every small thing in life as we lived with only the bare essentials, and made many meaningful friendships along the way.
