Favourite music artists: difficult to say (it changes a lot from time to time), however Bob Marley, Johnny Cash and Compay Segundo are three must.

Favourite movies: Goodbye Lenin, any Ken Loach movie, any Quentin Tarantino movie (except for Kill Bill), Fargo, Timbuktu, Buena Vista Social Club, The Motorcycle Diaries, many more..

Favourite books: currently reading Red Plenty by Francis Spufford, set in Soviet Union. Lately I have been loving Home Going, Half of a Yellow Sun, The Underground Railroad and A Brief History of Seven Killings, White Teeth. Also a fan of Graham Greene, Nick Hornby, Irivine Welsh, Jonathan Coe, Albert Camus, John Grisham, Maurizio Maggiani, Lev Tolstoj, Chinua Achebe and many others
