About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life as if it were one big circus!

ABOUT ME

I now run www.CircusNorth.ca a Toronto Festival and continue to do my photography. www.Awesomephotography.ca
I am a professional photographer by trade, a hobby fire spinner/dancer by night (still working on the dancing part), and slowly trying to become a youtube blogger; And I do mean slowly.

in 2011 I was in Japan and it was my introduction to couch surfing. Kazu who was my primary host was incredible. He set the bar and I'm hoping to be just as amazing as a host.

Right now I'm career focused but I work from my home studio. I've a flexible schedule for work / live hours and I usually make anything work.

PHILOSOPHY

Seize the day, be self aware, and move forward.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sadly I've recently been inactive as I've been rather transient moving from place to place on short term sublets allowing me to travel. I've only been able to send friends to the site to become a part of this treasure of a community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed with Kazu and Haruka in Tokyo and I can't tell you how selfless and giving the Japanese are, it's only something you can experience yourself! Culture shock in some ways. My American guests from Columbus were crazy fun to talk to, and my hosts in British Columbia are generous and fun loving gamers.

Interests

Fire Spinning, photography, scuba, rollerblading, Stilt walking, social events, festival events with music, art, culture, anime, fantasy based books and games. Life, social interactions, friends, loves, life and passion.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a fan of most types of music as long as it's good. I lean towards bands like Sum 41, The Offsping, Greenday, but I also listen to alot of dance music. Nothing beats a good acoustic guitar with a raw sounding voice male or female.

I hate it when I actually start driver dancing in my car to things like pop but it happens and the grin is always there.

movies are generally leaning towards fantasy, sci fi and comic based stories. I'm a fan of many anime films as well.

Book: The Wheel of time by Robert jordan, Kushiel series by Jaqueline Carey, Death Gate cycle and more fantasy. And sadly, I like the Twilight series.

Anime= anything by Miazaki, Naruto, Alchemist, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning man. Amazing. A community of creative, open, loving, fun seeking individuals sharing anything and everything. I felt so gifted to be there.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:: Photography, fire spinning if tools are with me, life lessons about goals and inspiration.

Learn: How to feel at one with a crowd. I always get along with people, but I always vibe opposite of the crowd when they all sync up. Be it arrogance or self conscience, I always feel mob mentality is something I am cautious of. It has it's uses when trying to enjoy a concert though.

Share: Right now I'm primed to share my future plans and how I hope they will change the world. It's a story in an of itself. I'll also share my talents as a photographer if someone desires some photos.
