About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm not a tourist, not a traveller, I'm a passerby.
ABOUT ME
I have all the flaws as a human - selfish, insensitive, self-centred, narcissistic, bitchy, airhead, gullible, etc... U name it, I have it! Usually shy and reserved unless I know you very well or perhaps you make me comfortable as a new stranger.
I am not the talkative type of person unless I think you and I have something in common or I feel at ease to speak up. I do not open up easily and am mostly the shy type. I prefer to listen to people speak than to speak.
I do not like to talk but I love to ask questions. Due to many various reasons that shaped my characteristics, I prefer to ask questions than to talk. This way, I listen to people speak more than I hear myself talking. But if I met with people who love to speak, I will let them speak as much as they want because then I do not have to speak or think of questions to ask or to think of how to raise a topic to discuss in order to break the silence.
I've travelled to many places mostly in Asia. My current mission is to find special theme(s) for each of these places (whether I've been there or not). I am good at researching places and writing my own itineraries that I am proud of.
I am a good guest (I hope so), I will keep my host's place neat and tidy, minimize any inconvenience, play with host's children (if any).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Usually I would look up for CSers if I travel to that particular country for a cup of coffee which happens to be an annual affair.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed with someone who is totally not in CS at all! I was fortunate to meet him through another CSer and he offered his couch to me for the first time we met! It was spontaneous and I enjoyed the experience staying with someone who is a total stranger yet it didn't feel strange or awkward staying together. In short, it feels like we knew each other long time ago! In fact I was very very lucky to couchsurf with him because he is a super frequent traveller but happen to be in town for the dates I was in Taipei!
My couchsurfing experience mainly in Taiwan where I stayed with hosts. I do meet CSers for coffee in different cities that I travel to like Shanghai, Seoul, etc.
Interests
In terms of nature, I love the ocean, the mountain tops, the open skies. I hope one day to see Aurora Borealis in the North.
In terms of personal interests, I have keen interests in the following: leather, gold, fashion & fabric, tailoring, shoes, skincare & beauty, makeover sessions.
- writing
- fashion
- beauty
- coffee
- traveling
Music, Movies, and Books
Many can be favourites but the one I love most would be "Spartacus - Blood & Sand" by Andrew Whitfield. Reason being I'm touched by his spirit of love for his wife.
