About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to effectively contribute to the Global Sustainable Development Goals especially in the areas of No Poverty and Zero Hunger through Mechanization of Smallholder Farmers Agricultural Activities. Join me in this mission, its noble.

ABOUT ME

I am a son , a husband and a father. A passionate individual who is here to do good and make others feel better and comfortable. I have real life experiences emanating from various challenges that I go through daily. These have taught me some very good lessons and not have more understanding of just who people are. I am not judging anyone and that is not my role to doing so.

I am a social development worker and a project manager. Born and bred in Kenya, part of Africa; we grapples with challenges that often require us to be brotherly and loving to our neighbours and friends. Their plights often become our and more often than not, we have to find solutions to our problems collectively. I have worked with various communities including the Maasai, the Luo, the Kamba and the Kikuyu and one single fact remains; we are God's creation and as such we ought to be kind.

Some of my friends say that I am an open person willing to go out of my comfort so as to help; I think this is me because many at times I have found myself in situations that outweigh my personal interests. I have many stories that I can tell; be it in development, poverty, education, life and such likes. If time is there, we can talk more about them. I however, welcome you to have a taste of what I am made of, and I do believe you can trust it and enjoy your time staying with me.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a journey full of challenges and setbacks. If we sit and wait thinking that we are defeated, we won't make it better either. Rise up and do what you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Basically my participation in Couchsurfing has been hosting and hosting people for sometime now. I would also love to continue being helpful in whatever little way I can. I have never attended couchsurfing events but whenever one comes up that matches with my time and pleasure, I will for sure join.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a number of guest but not so many. So far, those who have couched with me have been helpful and good. It might not be that all kept the faith and the trust afterwards, but what more can I demand? Really, nothing! We are humans and so were created differently, however it is good to be just the same person you are in words and in action. It does not hut to be genuine, concerned and faithful.

Interests

It is interesting to meet new people and with new lifestyles and just accept people the way they are. My main area of operations and work involves community development, women empowerment and human rights. In building networks and friendships as well as business we can learn to give back just a little bit of our time and resources to making one's life better.

I would love to continue learning about different cultures but especially about human behaviour and makes people reason and behave in particular ways. It would be interesting if we could share our resources and be of help in all that engage in.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Bible is most read book in the world. It is my favorite and I am now reading it for about the third time where I am going through every chapter. I am sorry, I do not do movies and as well I am not a fan of football. These are areas I can't say a thing about apart from hearsay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have given my life for others so that their lives are much better than mine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will learn first, share and then teach, maybe later.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am wiling to share very insightful thoughts and experiences on currently geopolitical, economical and environmental issues. If you host me, be rest assured that I will mutually contribute to your activities so long as they are not illegal and barred by the nature of my visit. I do not like sitting down and doing nothing; I will cook, mow, clean the house, wash utensils and help with if any technical issues that are in line with my expertise or general knowledge.
