Hello. Here's a little bit about me..

I'm born in '89, I consider myself to be a laid-back guy. I like travelling and think that people in general are interesting. I've lived in share-houses my entire life. I used to do a lot of sports (beach volleyball and tennis), but don't anymore. I work as a developer, which rocks!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hotels are great, but you don't get 'under the skin' of a city, by living in hotels. Experience tells me, that the first step of getting to know a city in the right way, is by getting a few words of advice from a local.

Interests

To be honest, - then I like talking about pretty much anything. I like hearing people talk about their life, their decisions and who they are.

My interests are computer programming/science, timerecording (it's a wierd hobby, but I can tell you more about it if you'd like), philosophy, movies and TV-series.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I pretty much like all music. So I listen to the stuff that other people hate (Bieber, One Direction, Boy Bands, etc.), because I feel bad for them.

Books: I must admit I'm quite the sucker for 'self-improvement'-books, such as 'Getting Things Done', 'Awaken the Giant Within', 'The Power of Habit' or 'Thinking Fast & Slow'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a 4 day treck into the Amazon jungle in Peru. That was pretty amazing, climbing through the wild terrain and seeing wild animals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very open minded and love to experience other people on their 'home turf'. I never judge people for what and who they are, since that simply is their arbitrary way through life, that is the foundation for who they are. I'm curious of nature, but also have a fairly good feeling for, when it's time to talk, and when it's time to bring out my book and give the people I'm with some space.

And besides from that, that I'm hilariously funny and super-attractive... Oh - I almost forgot, I'm really, really humble as well. ;-)
