ABOUT ME
Hey, I'm James. Aspiring screenwriter and current Linguistics student. I'm a big fan of most things lingual and constantly on the lookout for new ideas that I can write about.
I'm not so big on writing descriptions of myself, but for Cartesian proof of my existence, have a look here:

PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy life. Respect people and the planet. Why compete when you can cooperate?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting and, hopefully, travelling.
Currently living with my parents, which means hosting's a bit unlikely unless you look especially trustworthy. I start the final year of my degree in September though - and I'll be living with a couchsurfer, so we're hoping to host as many as we can then.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far.
I've done a good amount of WWOOFing though, having travelled up the coast of New South Wales that way. Stayed in a church, a derailed train, a mudhut and a house which had been ransacked by crystal meth-addicts. It's a brilliant way of seeing a country and very similar to couchsurfing, so I assume this will be equally great.
Interests
Loads of stuff, really. Filmmaking, screenwriting, general conversation.
I was raised on a farm, so I still have something of a fondness for working outdoors. Very big on nature too.
- writing
- film making
- working out
- traveling
- outdoor activities
- chemistry
- mathematics

Quite a few, just trying to think of the best...
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to teach English, Maths and Chemistry - so I'm happy to help with any of them.
I'd also like to think I'm pretty skilled practically. I helped renovate and partly build a house with my Dad during my year out.
