About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Share, create, inspire, enjoy, explore and LOVE!

PHILOSOPHY

All is fair in love and war....
at least, that's what it used to be; I'm not sure about that anymore

Why limit yourself to two?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted MANY people in the past where I used to live. Sadly I can't host right now but would always love to connect with local CS (and other) communities as well as occasionally surfing when I go on trips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the beginning:
My first CS experience I stayed for a week in San Diego with a great couple while at a conference. I've had a number of really nice people stay at my place in little old DE... not sure why anybody wants to come here... but there I was!

Even found a guy walking from NY... south and offered him a place to crash and look at maps (unofficial CS'ing, got him into it :-) )

Past: I had been fairly nomadic for a few years but had finally settled down in NYC! Hosted some great people at our condo on Rockaway Beach, NYC!

Now: Just recently moved to Petaluma, CA (North Bay) and currently renting from somebody else so can't host at the time being. Sorry!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of movies...hard to list. Not so much horror.
I used to play Jazz trombone....so inherently i like Jazz, but also lots of rock and techno/ambient stuff. I finally discovered Muse which is AWESOME and The XX.
Shibumi is a FUN book, and Ishmael and My Ishmael are important books!
I know the Celestine Prophecy is just fiction, but I really do agree with a lot of its philosophies. Stranger in a Strange Land is a great one too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accidentally became a roadie to some of the biggest bands in history!!!

Seen many amazing places:
visited 43 states (19.1%)Create your own visited map of The World or another interesting project

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories!
I went on tour (twice!!!) with Roger Waters (bassist of Pink Floyd) as the Inflatables Technician (I was in charge of the remote controlled flying pig!). Traveled more than I could list easily in 6 months. Experience of a LIFETIME!

ADDITION: Was on tour AGAIN with Roger Waters! Again in charge of a GIANT inflatable pig. Both remote controlled and on a rope for outdoor shows. Traveling all over the world again and decided to open up couches and beds in my hotel sometimes to couchsurfers in need!

ADDITION #2: Have since now been on tour with Kanye West, Enrique Iglesias and The Rolling Stones! I guess it's now a career :-)
