Hello I'm Zeus. Currently in the UK for the first 3 months of 2023, then back to Canada.

I'm into learning, growth, teaching, creativity and fixing things. I enjoy conversations about ideas and possibilities, with a deep seated desire to listen and learn from peoples lives.

Food is important to me and I love cooking for those that value a home cooked meal. I cook vegetarian, usually indian/asian cuisine with some ayurvedic principals applied.

I'm very motivated to teach a variety of things if they can be of use, including:
cooking, photography, design, mechanics, economics, food security, gardening, fixing etc

I don’t drink alcohol.

The best way to travel. A worldwide community that is incredibly welcoming and wise. I've only ever had great experiences and have met some of the coolest people.

Intereses

Photography
I currently run a public darkroom space near where I live. I have been practicing analogue forms of photography for quite some years and although I also use digital cameras, film is so much more fun. When I travel I usually only bring film cameras, it's less invasive to use in public and its not that bad if I loose them. I've been interested in such a variety of things over the years, I like to use the camera as a way of investigating my environment and to learn about people and professions.

Food
I'm a fan of food. Not meat, more veggies! In recent years I've been practicing sourdough bread making and have some great success, if your interested at all in the best bread I'd be happy to help you find a starter and show you how to do it. I do love sweet foods, I tend to make them myself but always love to be shown local bakeries.

Nutrition
I been studying health and nutrition for a long time and have been working in a health food store for a few years. Am inspired by the healing potential of plants and the bodies ability to heal itself when balanced correctly.

The Tzolkin
My Mother organizes a community based on interpenetrating the Mayan Tzolkin calendar. I have been following it for most of my life and am very interested in learning more and meeting people who have their own insights. I also like to share the benefit of following Tzolkin, which in a nutshell is a; 260 day calendar with 20 glyphs and 13 number, each having their own characteristics that represent archetypes/mantras/lessons that if you follow them teach you a great deal about becoming a balanced individual.

Music
I listen to allot of music, I dont play any instruments sadly but am trying to learn how to make music digitally. I love Reggae, Jungle, some Rap, Trip-hop and Atmospheric.
