ABOUT ME

Happy, energetic, and intelligent, I travel with awareness, an easy smile, and my collapsible firehoop.

I try and explore new places, meet new people, and generally expand my idea of the world regularly-- collecting great friends, stories, and random skills along the way.

This doesn't really explain me at all, though. I wish I could defy gravity the way I defy words.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but a manner of traveling. It is the practice of taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life and elevating them to art.

Love is a renewable resource.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfer and surfee, natural ambassador. They should give me more cards 4 this cause I love spreading the Couchsurfing love more than I love spreading peanut butter on a crisp Fuji apple. And thats saying a LOT.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing allows me to do the things I want to do with the kind of people I want to do them with.

CS has enabled me to swim in a warm ocean and get sunburned in January, unexpectedly meet friends of my best friends on the other side of the world, learn to surf, almost learn to fly, and much, much more (it slices, it dices, it washes your car on your way to work, call in the next five minutes and get another one FREE!)...

Interests

A Burner: electronic music, dancing, fire-dance, costumes, new people, art, glowing things, bellydance, drinking (dark beer and rrrrum), stories, pirates, skydiving, motorcycles, trampolines, radical responsibility, radical self-reliance.

I can teach: bad jokes, hula-hooping + poi tricks, sewing, basic salsa dance, quick + tasty veggie dinners, random animal facts.
