About Me

Whop whop! She is currently in Berlin, after having completed a year long voluntary service in Hamburg. If she has to filter down her interests; art, literature, dancing and intercultural learning would definitely be winners. She makes illustrations (flying zebras, winged dinosaurs, groovy people so to speak) when she feels productive.Reads the books of Patti Smith and the journals of Keith Haring over and over to feed her brain. Appreciates life. Has half of her best friends in different countries. Obsessed with words and letters. Has a typewriter which she values almost as much as she values life. Nowadays she's trying to avoid it getting rusty. Tiny light bulbs make her feel like home. Adores Jarmusch. Carries crumbles of her favorite movies in her vision. Grateful to those who shoot'em. Let's let her speak for herself now. After majoring in English Language and Literature, and a confusing process, I have decided to do something with visual communication design since my interest in making illustrations kept haunting me. Actually I'm so glad it did. Having an eye on a lot of fields and being curious about most things, sticking to one thing and keeping that passion alive can get quite tricky ma frandz! Well, it is a loong story to tell. Right now I am taking baby steps to learn what I wanna learn, in a city that literally occupies a piece of my brain, being Berlin. I've been in the land of funky souls quite a lot, though never have i moved for a long period of time. All keyed up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, surfing and couches are a great combination! Honestly I'm a new born in the community even though I hosted and be welcomed by so many people I've met here and there, without what this kingdom of couches offers. It was always friends of friends or someone I stumbled upon as I travelled. Terrific experience to have talks with people with different cultural backgrounds. Always widens my horizon. So, also keyed up for a CS experience! For some reason, I've always thought it was a missing piece of my experiences. For people who see traveling as a must for self identification and experience gathering, this platform is a gem! So here I am, trying to get rid of my new-born label in the CH community!
