Hola! I'm a teacher in Madrid, originally from rural Missouri in the US. I've been living in Spain teaching English for 5 years (in La Rioja, then Catalunya just outside Barcelona, and now for 3 years in Madrid).
I'm fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and can speak pretty good Catalan when the need arises.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to host and meet other people who are in the same situation as me: travelers/students/teachers/people in general looking for similar profiles throughout the world with good recommendations for their city and to provide a comfortable experience for visitors. Hopefully I can do the same for someone else here within my own home.
