I am from China, living in Espoo, Finland now.
I am having my double master degree here in Helsinki and will come back to Shanghai in 2015.
I major in IDBM program, which is a very interesting interdisciplinary program doing projects with different nationalities.
I like making friends with different backgrounds, no matter where you are from, as far as you are sincere.

I like doing sports. Usually i go to the gym at least 4 times a week.
I like traveling. Until now, i have stayed in Finland for a few months since last August. I have visited a few countries, like Spain, Sweden, Russia and Germany. Last Xmas, i went to Lapland and Norway and was very lucky to see northern night dancing. It's really an unforgetable experience for me. I tried swimming in Arctic Ocean, driving reindeer and Husky under the condition of minus 46 degree...

I also went to four cities in Germany all alone by myself for 8 days. I searched couchsurfing through Chinese social media and stayed in two families during the trip in Bremen and Hamburg. It was such nice experience. The hosts were so kind and appreciated that i brought some gifts to them. After this, we became very good friends. So i hope to try this more and meet more friends from all over the world. I bring some Chinese characteristic gifts to hosts and sharing my travel experience with you.

As for drinking, i am sentivie to alcohol, so I don't like drinking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travel and share with others very much. Every travel experience for me is like an adventure. And I like travelling alone because this can give me more chance to make interesting friends during the trip. Having more experience help me think what kind of person i would like to be in the future. I believe that there must be something i can learn from each one, no matter where she or he is from, as far as he or she is willing to share with you.

Some internationals classmates or teammates always said to me that they've never met such an open-minded Chinese like me. It's true that wherever i go, I and open minded to respect local culture and try to understand it.

Another important reason is that i trust people even i don't know them much. I would like to host travellers when i come back to Shanghai this June. During the period while i am not travelling, why not host people and listen to their travel experience?

I believe every person in the world has a kind heart. Life is like a mirror, if you smile at it, it will smile respondingly to you.

For me, share and trust are two most important points in CS.

i like taking photos and doing sports, like running, badminton, free training in the gym.
I also like hiking, meeting new people during the trip.

I like reading, enriching my mind.
The biggest interest would be traveling, that's why i came here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Feb, i visited four cities in Germany alone. I planned the trip all by myself.
During the trip in Berlin, i was feeling very confused at the subway and metro transfer at first, which is really super complicated. But only after half day, i got familiar with it. And for the following two days in Berlin, i enjoyed it very well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Chinese and cook Chinese food, and share my travel experience with you if you are interested.
And i am also interested in your culture no matter where you are from, thus i could broad my horizons.
Also, before i came to Finland, i visited many cities in China. If you are also interested, i can share with you all my traveling experiences both in China and in Europe.
I am pleased at sharing, including what i've seen and what i was thinking during my trip.
