I have moved from New York to Washington D.C. for my Master's degree;

Hi everyone, I'm Zhe-- it is hard to pronounce unless you know Chinese, but you can also call me Charissa (my English name). I was born in Hangzhou, China (the city that held the G20 summit in 2016, and it's just one-hour drive from Shanghai) but I currently live in New York and have been living in New York for almost 5 years. I also lived in London for half a year and though I love New York, London is my favorite place-to-be.

I am an INTJ, so if you're also an INTJ it might be easier for us to become friends LOL

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend introduced me to Couchsurfing back in 2012, and ever since then I never stayed in a hotel while traveling (unless I'm traveling with my parents who are shy to talk to strangers)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Awesome. I have met many incredible people all around world, some of them even became my life-long friends afterwards.

I am a foodie, simply can't resist delicious food (and on that side, New York >>>>> London)

I love movies, and my ultimate career goal is to be a filmmaker

I love reading, it's just so important to read, and to be very honest, I CANNOT make friends with people who don't read

I play the piano, and my favorite genres are classical and rock.
OASIS IS THE BEST!
Now that they dismissed, MUSE became my favorite;
but I'm also a fan of The Verve, The Kooks, Blur, Suede, Radiohead, One Ok Rock, Massive Attack, The xx... yes, mostly Britpop and British bands (totally not a fan of American music at all)

I studied Economics and will study International Relations, and I am very into history-- my favorite is WWII, but I am reading the Roman Empire history, and will start reading French Revolution soon
