About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the human race in all it's beauty.

ABOUT ME

I am a college junior/senior/a little bit of everything at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. I grew up on a small ranch in North Dakota. In the past three years I've really gotten into backpacking, hiking, biking, and traveling in general. I love all of the wonderful people that one can meet when they least expect it. I truly believe that a place is not about where it's at or how long you are there but rather the people that one meets there. So many shoes, so little time.

PHILOSOPHY

I always discover a new reason to live. At only 20 years old, there is a lot to learn, but in simple words it seems that the reason to live is to learn and to love. To find beauty in all living things and to learn from them.

It's a long road to wisdom, but it's a short one to being ignored.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whenever I am in a new place, I love to host people and not only show them the beauty of the place, but also discover something new in the process. Sometimes it takes an guest to show you or cause you to appreciate something new about where you are.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing, as I am sure the case is for many here, has truly changed my life. It has exposed me not only to the world but, of course, to the people that make it wonderful. I learn something new on every trip, and it makes me crave even more.

Interests

Philosophy is always something that grabs my attention. Perspectives on life and the world are something I could spend hours talking about. But sometimes one just has to go out and see the world for what it is in all of its wonderful beauty, so I always enjoy a good adventure, especially if it is spontaneous.
