My name is pronounced as "Jong-meow". But you may see people calling me Enrique or Volodya in the references. Yes, those are my Spanish name and my Russian name, which I do prefer to be called by native speakers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My CS journey began in Shanghai, China. I was totally insipred by the movie Taipei Exchange and decided to join in CS, although I had already heard of CS 6 years before I watched that movie.

Later I continued my CS in New York City. Meeting new people and making friends from all over the world is essentially the theme of my life here.

Here I am back to Shanghai and hope to host more couchsurfers.

Interests

I studied several languages at school and with my foreign friends. I am fond of playing piano, flute, Chinese bamboo flute. I like dancing very much, including ballet, modern dance and Latin dance etc. If you can dance salsa, bachata and merengue, let's party! Also, I like watching movies and travelling around the world. I also have huge enthusiasm in cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are dozens of movies I enjoy, especially those directed by famous directors.
I like classical music as well as pop and electronic.
I read European literature a lot, mainly the works during and after the Enlightenment.
