I’m Sylvia! Originally from China, now living and working long-term in the UK. I love exploring new cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and sharing experiences over good food and conversation.

This year I’m taking one of my first solo trips in a long time — to France 🇫🇷! A few years ago, I used Couchsurfing and had such a wonderful experience connecting with locals that I wanted to come back to this community again.

People often describe me as curious, friendly, and easy-going. I enjoy discovering hidden corners of a city, whether that’s a cozy café, a beautiful viewpoint, or just a local market where life happens naturally.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe the best way to know a city is through its people. I’d love to meet locals or fellow travelers, share stories, explore together, and exchange cultures.
