About Me

CURRENT MISSION

a little far-fetched objective to find my place on Earth

ABOUT ME

I'm Erasmus/ Comenius/ any other EU programme addict. It's impossible not to travel around and miss all those fascinating places out there. I finished EVS in Plasencia, Spain.
I believe that people are naturally good, only the hard life gets the worse side out of them. I want to believe also that they're ready to help and see a human being in each face. Although it may sound sentimental I want to still believe in people.
I'm open to new experience, though culture shock is sometimes unavoidable ;) Like the opening hours of banks in Belgium puzzle me all the time. Or siesta, I understood the whole idea only after it got really hot, around 40*C!

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem! just trying to make the best out of the moment or given opportunity

whatever the situation is, never give up because the next day is usually much worse

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mainly surfing.
CS is amazing way of travelling and fighting off loneliness or a bad mood. It's not about visiting a place, it's about knowing a person living in that place, sharing experiences and on top of that, it's all about common trust. Thank you, my all dear CS friends for this amazing 9-months long adventure called Spain!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is a great unforgettable adventure. Thanks to all my wonderful hosts, I spent much of my time in Spain travelling and enjoying great company :)))
I'm looking forward to host more people in Wrocław :)

Interests

My passion is traveling and meeting new people with interesting ideas.
I love languages, I sometimes surf the net to find some nice recordings. I tried to revive my German, but it seems cold dead ;(
I've got my favourite TV-series, House, M.D, Grey's Anatomy and possibly I'd like other "medically" oriented things.
After work I'm crazy about zumba, I like to go to fitness, learn Spanish, meet friends and hang out.

Music, Movies, and Books

loving fantasy, especially Polish writer Sapkowski
various other books, difficult to define, from thrillers through non-fiction to fantasy

anything in the style of Marvel but I love romantic comedies and dramas from time to time

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

teaching English at primary school in Spain
he trabajado cinco meses en Centro sociosanitario de Plasencia
I went to Amsterdam, not knowing that there is the final of championships. Poor Holland lost.

Teach, Learn, Share

make a paper butterfly, a Polish dish called placki ziemniaczane (potatoe pancackes)
I can share nice bits and pieces of information about Wrocław
I'd like to improve my Dutch and Spanish

What I Can Share with Hosts

my (somehwat limited) cooking skills
languages
passion for travelling, cycling and dancing

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, Cyprus, Poland, Romania, Spain
