About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Heading for Vietnam and Cambodia...my first backpacking experience....

ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet people from all over the world. I wish to make sense of the word "tavel".

No matter how busy I am, I always allot time for traveling. Just spending "vacation" at home is not vacation. I'm fortunate to work in an organization that's not so strict in permitting their employees to take their time off for vacation.

Due to the many limitations of the Passport I carry. I got my officemate/friend KRIS infected with the my VISA VIRUS--and that is...collecting TRAVEL VISA stickers like to make one's passport look like it belongs to a jet-setter!

PHILOSOPHY

Live your life to the fullest and do what you enjoy doing. Experience what the world has to offer. I believe God gave us the freedom to enjoy this life so I'm grabbing all the opportunity it offers whenever time and resources permits it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was referred by my friend. Although I know CS way before! I questioned so much about it but my friend had tried it and I trust him for what he says! He looked like he had so much fun connecting with people and making friends...so then he suggested why not give this one a shot?...then I did. Now, that I'm in it, I told myself I should have joined earlier when I first bumped into it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

1. Surfed at Josh Sterrett couch in Seoul, South Korea--also had a drink together with Si-Eun (Jan. 2011). Met Josh again during his stay in Manila (Feb. 2011).
2. Had lunch in Makati with Foower of Guangzhou (Feb. 2011)
3. Had a dinner with Sandy and Feng at an Authentic Taiwanese Restaurant in Taipei. Yummeee!!! (Feb. 2011)
4. Showed Cameron around Manila's Chinatown and Quiapo District (Mar. 2011)
5. Had a Drink with Nick -- together with my friend (Aug. 2011)
6. A Vietnamese dinner with Bob in Saigon; met Erik and Olive in the dorm hostel--by surprise! - Sept. 2011

Interests

My mission is to travel around the world. Interests include traveling, internet surfing and article reading, window shopping, and ...riding airplanes (I'm dead serious on this)...I do love the plane take-off experience. =)

Music, Movies, and Books

I go for non-fiction books (bios, encyclopedias, etc.), newspapers, and magazines. The Internet had become my ultimate library so I do read many online articles, news, blogs, and journals. Not much on movies except if it's thriller/suspense, adventure, or romantic comedies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first couchsurfing experience was truly amazing. It took place in Northern Seoul with Josh as my host and where we had a private "The Bar Apple and Kimchi Bokumbap" night with birthday celebrant Si-Eun.

Great Wall of China, the Grand Canyon of Arizona, the pine tree-covered mountains of the Yosemite Park in Central California, and the Korean JSA DMZ Area.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to share my travel stories and would want to hear others' too.
