Hi fellow citizens of Earth! My name is Ziggy.

I m one of those crazy people who dream about saving the world through sustainable technology and spiritual enlightenment. I grew up in an expatriate home in Kuwait (a capitalist monarchy in the beautiful desert) and moved to Montréal in 2012 to study Architecture.

Present day, I m trying to break into the video gaming industry as a 3D artist ! I also enjoy meddling with the VR community and photography in my free time. My secret dream is to be a hippy urban monk, move around in one of those van home things, be anonymous (Bansky <3) , learn the guitar, and sing as a street artist.

I currently live in the Mile-End with a roommate in a cute neighbourhood in Montreal with a lot of nice little places to explore. We use to accept guest before but now we have 2 adorable kittens permanently stationed in the living room. They have declared it as their living space and no one has yet to convince them otherwise.

While hosting a Couchsurfer from Germany, we had the most gratifying cultural exchange, it made me realize that talking to people from a different country/culture is just as valuable of an experience as visiting said country/culture.

I have been hiking in Cyprus, kayaking in Thailand, and camping in the deep forests of Quebec.
Since starting architecture school, I traveled to Ottawa, Toronto, NYC and Philadelphia with an architect's agenda and planning my trip to avoid the touristy spots. I enjoy walking around the city, experiencing its urban planning, feeling the ground under my feet, looking at people going about their lives, feeling the vibes of a place in 5D, visiting museums if the interior is interesting, or if the subject matter catches my eye i.e. Eastern State Penitentiary

Growing up between Kuwaiti, Chinese and now Canadian (Anglo and Franco) culture, I have sculpted my life to be a rather strange person. I love life stories, every life story is a parallel universe and I would love to hear yours.

I love sharing knowledge, I m too educated for my own good (i.e. I m a huge nerd/geek) , and have collections of random, useless facts in my head which I ve accumulated through trying to understand the world around me.
