I hate these things.

I'm an introverted extrovert (depending on who you talk to) with red hair and an accent people often struggle to place.

I have a penchant for all things arty and live music. I'm a sucker for a glass of red wine and will never say no to a free plate of food. All in all this is me in a nut shell.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an eclectic taste in music and am always looking for new bands to listen to... things like Bright Eyes, QOTSA, the Distillers, Mars Volta, Radiohead, Defacto, The Horrors, Jeff Buckley, DFA, Snowman, Witch Hats, Born Ruffians, Bon Iver, The Vines, Led Zeppelin, Amon Tobin, Battles, Elliot Smith, Godspeed you black emporer, Incubus, Tool, Flying Lotus, Gonja Sufi, Holy Fuck, Mogwai, R.L Burnside, Salmonella Dub, Wavves, Nina Simone, Arcade Fire, the National, Shpongle, Animal Collective, Modest Mouse, Kid Sam etc...

I try to read a lot but most the time end up getting distracted... some of my favourite authors are, Murakami, Palahnuik, Charles Bukowski, Sylvia Plath, Kurt Vonnegut, Nick Hornby, anything by Oliver Sacks and I'm sure there's more but I can't think right now...

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach the unsuspecting victim random linguistic facts, how to poach an egg and dance like a meerkat.

Learn: anything! I'm always interested in learning new things and meeting new people. Doesn't matter what area or topic.
