My name is Bernadette and I am a mother of two grown up girls. I work a fulltime job and also have a little shop on the side, but I have an empty room in which I will gladly host you when you come to visit. I love to invite the world in my home.

Interests

During the workyear, on Tuesdays you can find me in the Cultural Center of Mechelen where some volunteers, and me, project an arthouse movie and afterwards I help out behind the bar. An ideal place to meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love different kinds of music, from Keane to Bocelli, from Renaud to Springsteen. I have just discovered Arnaldur Indridason and his crime stories, but unfortunately don't get enough time to read. At the moment I am enjoying a Turkish series called 'The End'.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bed in a separate room on the second floor of my house that is located in the center of Mechelen (between Brussels and Antwerp). Time in the weekend or in the evening during the week to walk around town and maybe we can cook together in the evening?
