About Me
CURRENT MISSION
...to buy refrigerator magnets in as many places as possible...
ABOUT ME
I'm a Danish journalist/writer/photographer based in Copenhagen. Among other crazy projects last year I was traveling the world as a Quality Hunter for Finnair.
PHILOSOPHY
I try my best to treat everyone I meet with kindness and respect (and if I don't I'm sure karma will come and kick my ass one fine day...) I believe that every person that comes into my life serves a purpose, as well as I can serve a purpose in theirs and that I can learn and grow from meeting them.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - 1984, On the Road, Shantaram, Finding George Orwell in Burma, The Half Brother, The Yacoubian Building - to mention a few...
Films - The Celebration, La Vita E Bella, Goodbye Lenin, Burma VJ, Gomorra, Lost in Translation - to mention a few...
Music - Can't mention a few, there's just too many, but definitely more indie rock and alternative than pop and electronic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived in Bangkok and covered and written about various topics in the Southeast Asian region for almost two years and that has taken me to a bunch of places. Usually it is the people I meet that I remember, rather than things I've done or seen. Like the two boys in Burma who proudly showed me their school in a little hut in Mingun, the young monk in Cambodia, who invited me to his monastery or the taxi driver in Bangkok who asked me to marry him.
At the moment I'm working on a book on Burma. To be continued...
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, if nothing else, I can always teach you how to ask for directions to the toilet in Thai. Comes in handy in both Thailand and Thai restaurants all over the world.
