Hi! I'm Zijing! If you're not familiar with a Chinese name, you can also call me Cercis. Now, I am a master's student majoring in mathematics, and I live in Uppsala, Sweden.

My journey as an outdoor enthusiast began with numerous hikes and treks. I dived from ten-meter-high cliffs into the water, experienced rainstorms in the desert, summited mountains over five thousand meters to witness sunrises above the peaks, gazed at the Milky Way and brilliant stars in the prairies, camped alone by the sea, treked alone in a no-one grassland, talked to cattles and sheeps, and confided to the moon... There are so many that I have no time to keep updateing.

No matter how far I go, I always regard myself as a beginner. I love mathematics for its logic, rigor, and rationality, and I admire life for its unknowns, changes, and vibrant emotions. I would like to be someone who is always learning, always moving forward, and always curious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I began planning my journeys, I realized that I didn't know where I would go. I felt I had little knowledge about the world, unfamiliar cultures, and the people living in different places. So I want to connect with local people, share my experiences, and immerse myself in the places I visit as much as possible.

I want to be a host because I met so many nice hosts in Couchsurfing! I'm so lucky that I want to share my luck🤞
