Hey.
I'm Adam. I'm 25, and generally pretty chill. I was born in Johannesburg and moved to Australia when I was 5, and have been travelling pretty much since then. I moved to Canberra at the start of this year from Melbourne to start a new job, and am currently enjoying getting to know the new city.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I've couchsurfed a number of times and the people I've stayed with have always been amazing. I think it's really a great way to make some new friends or meet some new people. I'm currently living with two friends in a great apartment in the very best part of Canberra, and since we're a bit too busy to travel we'd love to give back to the Couchsurfing community and host travellers when we can.

Reading, music, film and film festivals, hiking, travelling, going out, and doing impulsive things that make my mother wake up in a cold sweat feeling vaguely disconcerted.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I've been in the audience of the Dr Phil Show. I consider it my claim to fame because you can see me in the episode for about 10 seconds looking incredibly bored. I think it was about some lady who would lie to her husband about needing money for groceries and spend it at starbucks.

More seriously, in 2014 I won a two-person two week trip to Cuba. It was quite spectacular.

And last year I did an overnight hike up a volcano in Panama, reaching the top in time for the sunrise.
I know technically this is three things but they were all amazing.

I majored in anthropology so can maintain a discussion on lots of weird/esoteric topics.
