Currently, I am a young professional living in Chicago. I work as an administrative assistant for a mapping and navigational technology company. In my spare time, I do a lot of volunteer work for a couple of local media arts non-profits in Chicago.

I love adventure and to explore new areas. Hiking is one of my favorite things to do. I also love to walk everywhere around cities to explore the hidden gems they have to offer.

Reading and music are huge passions of mine. And I love to talk with other people about their passions and interests.

I signed up for this site when I was in college, but I never used it. Five years ago, I met a friend who has travelled all over the world and is an incredibly active user of the site. She has amazing stories of the places she's visited and the people she has met. Her experiences motivated to try some new things and meet new people through Couchsurfing.

A passion for life and an active and engaging listener.

I am also very conscious and considerate of other people around me. If I am visiting someone, even family, I want to take up as little of their space and time as possible. I consider it a privilege when someone hosts me so I don't want to be an inconvenience.
