Overview
About Me
I am a PhD student at UniTo in agriculture. I have been in Torino for a year and it's been a whole process of slowly falling in love with the city!
Having spent quite a bit of time on my own, I truly realized that no man is an island. So I am currently looking for my tribe and looking to make new connections!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Every now and then it occurs to me how there are 8 billion people, each with their life stories unraveling every day. And I think it would be amazing to meet people and learn of their stories.
Interests
For many years, my interests were more of a therapy alternative kind of thing. Music, drawing, and reading were my main escapes and shelter away from what I wouldn't face.
Now, I am more focused on experiencing life whether by walks and photography or by sharing my songs and drawings.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is a key element of my life. It has been my companion for as long as I can remember. Like many people, I enjoy all sorts of music. It's more of a vibe thing. Sometimes, some songs hit the right spot, regardless the genre or the language of the song.
The books that impacted me the most are "Pour moi seule", which shaped my life decisions since I was 15; and "The Untethered Soul", which taught me practically how to let go and be more zen.
I am a sucker for romantic movies. "Pride and Prejudice" (2005), the Before trilogy (1995, 2004, 2013), and "When Harry met Sally" are movies that I have watched more than once (per year).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing sight for me is always linked to the stars in the sky. The sunset and sunrise in the Sahara desert were breathtaking... Almost as much as the night sky from the top of Mount Toubkal.
Teach, Learn, Share
Music, cooking, and gardening. I am always willing to share what I know, learn more about stuff, and nothing beats the joy of sharing my little creations whether in music, cuisine, or my small garden.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Recently, I have started to conquer Moroccan and Italian cuisine. So, definitely some food! Or at the very least mint tea.
A bit of entertainment whether by sharing music, stories, or books. And a guided tour of the international cuisines in Turin (so far I have tried Chinese, Greek, Argentinian, Colombian, Mexican, and I am very eager to try Peruvian, Cuban, Korean, and Thai).
Oh and SPA treatment! Moroccan culture is very centered on self care and I love to dabble in that!
