About Me

CURRENT MISSION

long term plans

ABOUT ME

i'm a beautiful disaster.

PHILOSOPHY

nothing is more practical than finding god,
that is, than falling in love
in a quite absolute, final way.

what you are in love with,
what seizes your imagination,
will affect everything.
it will decide what will get you
out of bed in the morning,
what you will do with your evenings,
how you spend your weekends,
what you read, who you know,
what breaks your heart,
and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.

fall in love; stay in love,
and it will decide everything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately, I've only surfed once, but I love hosting!

2016:
"Green" from Cambodia

2015:
A bunch of Peace Corps volunteers

2014:
Bri: New York by way of Bouarfa, Morocco
Katherine: New Orleans by way of Rabat

2013:
Andrew and Valerie - Washington DC
Jeremy and Gurer - Annapolis, MD

2012: Started hosting again!
Steve, Jash, and Jayden - Western Australia

2011: Grad school's hard...

2010: On hiatus for most of this year.

2008-2009: I hosted nomads and first-time travelers, I cooked full meals for them, took them to Moroccan houses, and had them cook full meals for me. I traipsed through rain and mud, shivered in my icebox of a house, sweated in my oven of a house, and frolicked in the rain and the sunshine with them.
