I've been blessed to see a lot of places, and I've learned something invaluable from every single trip. I'm past the bohemian backpacker stage of my life, in that I'm ready to seek a bit more stability and make plans a bit longer term - but there's a part of me that will always be drawn to the excitement and stimulation of traveling, living new experiences and meeting new people. I truly think people never stop learning and gather something, whether consciously or not, from each and every experience and person in their lives.

PHILOSOPHY

everything happens for some sort of reason
vulnerability is underrated
great injustice breeds true courage, suffering breeds growth

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In any way I can: hosting, surfing, participating in meetings, and spreading the word.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some of the most interesting people in my life through hostels, or hitch-hiking, or ridesharing. I like virtual communities of like-minded people - I find they're difficult to find in bars. I started couchsurfing in 2007 and I've couchsurfed in Malaysia, Bologna, London, and Wiesbaden so far - each time a memorable experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 20, I discovered Italy for the first time. After 2 months of Interrail, I arrived in Cinqueterra with my two best friends - I'll never forget what a perfect paradise the place seemed to me.

The huge craters of ice falling into the lake below from the Perito Moreno Glacier in Calafate, Argentina, are a very close second.

Every once in a while, I'm awestruck by natural beauty, in all its forms, whether majestic or feminine...
