i love beauty of every kind. i particularly like to find beauty in the commonplace, in the ordinary, in the mundane. a floured surface, scars, muddy knees, a sprig of rosemary, a sibling helping another, flowers in hair, textures, soil, your morning coffee, a midday yawn, an evening fire, the briskness of autumn.
travel makes my life engaging. it keeps me insatiably curious and helps me to live in a state of evolution.
i'm interested in anything that nourishes. whether it be high-quality, local food or sharpening conversation or stellar literature or intentional living or solitude.
i like to work with my hands. to have them gripping bike handles or knitting needles or crayons. to dig through soil and create with sand. to stitch together and do over.

an evening spent on a dock...endless rough stone stairs below a fairytale town in the italian riveria. the water lapping the shore, empty boats, magnificent stars, natural majesty.
