ABOUT ME

I'm 19, pretty out-going, but mostly curious, to travel and meet new people. Ive travelled a bit, in south east asia, europe, and Australia.
I work as a chef mostly, I love food, of all sorts, cooking it, eating it, sharing it, so if you host me, I'l be happy to cook you up some australian goodies!!!!!
I'm a bit of an amateur artist and travel photographer. I'm pretty active, I like walking, and bike-riding, though bikes do seem to hate me (something bad always happens haha )
Oh and can't forget music, live gigs and shows are great, I love nothing more than to spend the night with good friends and dance to good music!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couchsurfed only once, in Singapore, Its hard to find people in south-east asia but I would love to get more involved now that I'm in Europe!
I've been living in a few different places in Bristol, alwyas in sharehouses so I haven't been able to host at housemates requests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Singapore and it was so much fun. It's really true, staying with someone who knows the place really helps you make the most out of it, learn the culutre, make great friends and share your experiences with someone is brilliant and is real travelling!
Jasmin is a lovely person and was so open and friendly. We had some good laughs, including watching me drunkenly surf her couch (literally :P )

兴趣

Art, I am doing alot of watercolour and ink designs at the moment, and I'm actually designing a few tattoos for some friends and me as well!
I'm teaching myself photography as well, travel photography, particularly street photography really inspires me.
I don't play any instruments but I listen to music constantly, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Pixies, Crowded House, Beastie Boys, Ed Kuepper, Jimi, The Coasters, David Bowie, Coco Rosie, Lou Reed pretty varied . . plus love finding new music, from people or by chance.
Travelling goes without saying, discovering new cultures, especially new food!!!!!(I could kill for some malaysian food right now!), new music, new people, new scenes!
Love beer and wine as well, actually hoping to wwoof in Italy this autumn in a vineyard or agriculture farm to learn more about the making of it.

Any and all of Quentin Tarantino's movies! Guy Richtie, Miyazaki's movies are beautiful, especially Laputa, Spirirted Away and Kiki's Delivery Service. Porco Rosso is a gem too!
Books, I read alot of travel journals and memoires, as well as fiction, really enjoying Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas at the moment.

I'm a chef, I work at a vegan co-op cafe/restaurant at the moment, though I'm not vegan! My specialities are Anzac biscuits (an australian biscuit) choc brownies, lemon tart, lemon pudding, fresh pasta; vongole! and well.. i always love learning new food, so I would love to learn the local food in the places I travel and I am really happy to cook for those who host me!!
