Biochemistry Professor and software engineer born and raised in Ethiopia. Now working as a software engineer. I really enjoy meeting new people, hearing their unique story, learn about their culture and way of life. Intrigued by human imagination, likes diversity in all aspects of life. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet like minded travelers and learn from their experience about different culture , tradition , language. Meeting CSers is a good way of exploring my next travel destiny.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted over 20 CSer when I was in Ethiopia and Loved it . I showed them different places in town, Went out to the nightclubs, taught them Ethiopian dance, had an endless conversation in their travel experiences. This shaped my way of life and thinking .

Interests

Exchange ideas, culture, tradition, language, enjoy playing tennis, basketball, pool, bowling, listening music etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reggae, hip hop, techno, scientific fiction I am not into movies that much. Love to read anything from fiction to politics to hard science and Technology .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So much to list here, walked 210 KM at the age of 14 for 10 straight days, became a professor at the age of 23, in 6 months I taught myself how to code and became a software engineer for one of the largest IT firm.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to cook Ethiopian food, dance, tennis and love to exchange ideas and not afraid to speak my mind with respect and understanding of your thoughts as well.
