ABOUT ME

Born in Taiwan, parents were Lutheran missionaries. Lived most of my life in Iowa. Was an exchange student in West Germany, near the Swiss border. A few years ago, spent a month in Pau, France studying French. I'm usually a little shy at first but then I warm up and you'll wish I'd shut up! I am very kind and generous, considerate of others. When I'm not singing, I enjoy walking, especially in the mountains, and claim to practice yoga. I also read a lot and study languages. In spite of these seemingly solitary activities, relationships are very important to me--I like to stay in touch with people I've connected with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy meeting travelers coming through the Twin Cities and showing them some of the many cultural things--music, museums, theater, nature, special events, etc.--our fine cities have to offer. I also enjoy meeting local CS members at CS events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met so many great people through Couch Surfing! Most recently, I went to an art fair with Mimi where we met up with Mumu who had just arrived from France and after that we went to a party hosted by a local CS'er. It was an exhausting but fun day!
