ABOUT ME
Fenton - 35 years old from Canada. I have lived in Korea for 8 years now and it's finally time to get out. I am new to couchsurfing but this seems like a great idea. Sort of like a real life Facebook? Anyway I hope to meet some of you out there sometime soon!
Ziru - 25 years old from South Korea. I (Fenton) am writing on behalf of Ziru due to her lack of confidence in English (hehe so cute). We have been together about 2 years now and have never been happier. Ziru is a sweet, honest, and open minded person with many interests and appeals and she has had a positive effect on everyone I know of who has met her.
PHILOSOPHY
I (Fenton) will quote the band Flipper: Life is the only thing worth living for.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Ziru started couchsurfing during her trip to Europe a couple years ago. I hadn't heard of it until we met and she told me about it. Then there was a band from France playing a show in Seoul who suddenly turned out to have nowhere to stay. I told them I had plenty of room and that they should stay at my place and it ended up that one of my guests was a couch surfing member so that's basically how I got introduced to the concept. Pure accident!

Music, Movies, and Books
Early punk and postpunk, 80s noise rock, garage rock, early rock n roll from unassuming countries (Thailand, Korea, Cambodia, China), some electronic. Usually if a band is already a big fan of cool music they are something I'd at least be interested in hearing. Strictly off the beaten path. Love discussing music and hearing new sounds. The road never ends.
Teach, Learn, Share
Fenton has decent culinary skills as he worked at a restaurant for many years before coming to Korea. Ziru can make good Korean food although ingredients may be hard to find outside Korea.
