I am really bad with "about me" sections. I always thought I was being charming when I wrote it, only to end up cringing when I read it later.

The basics: I am a Ph.D. candidate in social psychology at UC Davis. I grew up in China and went to college in Massachusetts. I miss the East Coast, but I have come to love the West Coast too (Ocean! Sun! Food!).

Interests

Dance, music, reading, traveling, and being endlessly curious. I have a really low threshold of interest. I once read a table of sunrise and sunset times from an almanac and decided the best way to spend the next two hours is to graph and model the dataset.
