About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm 30 years old, living in Budapest with my IT engineer husband of 11 years. We are a very fun couple, our motto is to live and let live. We like to travel very much, more interested in exploring cities and culture/art than partying. We are very adaptive to every situation and generally fun to be around.
I am a smoker (my husband quit recently but still smokes the occasional cigarette here and there) so that means that if your nose is sensitive, you can smell it on my clothes/hair etc. But I do believe in cultured smoking, I have my own little ashtray and I only smoke where I'm allowed. I like to cause minimal problems and don't like to make people uncomfortable :D (yes, I do mean the live and let live, respect of personal freedom is very important to me).
We like to talk very much about anything and everything, from pholosophy to history/culture. Like good night owls, talking can last well into the night :)
PHILOSOPHY
Watch, absorb, reflect. Repeat :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am very new to couchsurfing so at first I want to try it from the surfer's side. Hopefully we will soon move, and when we settle in our new place, we'll see :)
Interests
My main interest is in music and literature, though I like history very much. I'm mainly a swing/blues fan, but I have favorite artists of almost every genre.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Some like it hot, Interview with the Vampire, Desperado, Passion in the desert, The Crow, The Bourne Identity (the original, not the new one, sorry), The Scarlet Pimpernel (1982).
Books: The Scarlet Pimpernel series by Emma Orczy, The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, The Bourne trilogy (how predictable, right?), Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Oscar Wilde The Picture of Dorian Gray, Robert Grave I, Claudius. I could go on and on, I'm a bookworm. From classics to modern fiction, I consume everything :) Currently reading Harry Harrison's The Hammer and the cross.
TV Shows: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Life on Mars (UK), Merlin, Sherlock (basically everything BBC), Arrow, Spartacus, Game of Thrones, Da Vinci's Demons, Elementary.
Music: ugh, that's the most difficult, but mostly oldies. The Mills Brothers, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Every Brothers etc. If it's jazz/swing/blues from the 30s-50s, I love it. I also like Sting, Manu Chao/Mano Negra, folk pop like Tarkan, Amr Diab, Dubliners, Gaelic Storm. Fav album ever is Drew Sarich's Silent Symphony.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being dyslexic, I taught myself English, and graduated from both high-school and college without help.
Also, technically I've been dead three times (my heart stopped).
