About Me

ABOUT ME
I am a fun, easy going 35 y.o. girl from Croatia, looking for best experience of the town, and seek a little help to stay overnight. Currently residing in Rotterdam and looking for other people to hang out with during these boring covid times.
PHILOSOPHY
We are here to explore the planet. Do not leave Earth until you have seen where you have lived.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, I surfed a lot. I hosted a little. Right now I am living in a tiny studio apartment so don't really feel OK hosting, but I am here to meet people, introduce them to our culture and learn about theirs.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed Mellissa Ribares' (Milwaukee, WI), Frank Calzada's (Oakland, CA), Lourenco's (Porto, Portugal) couches and those were probably the best travelling experiences in my life!! They were amazing hosts. I first hosted (not with a couch unfortunately) two guys from France in 2011. In 2017 I hosted Tole Glock in Rijeka (he even got my bed and I took the couch). So, all in all, not many experiences, but those that I have are precious.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - anything by Tim Burton.
Music - I used to be a music journalist, it would take hours to describe everything I like. But mostly, I avoid modern pop wonders, r'n'b, hip-hop, punk and folk music. Everything else goes.
Books - Will Self is my favourite author and to be honest, I don't even bother to read somebody else.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I slept alone in a phone booth in Italy once.
Teach, Learn, Share
You can iron your shirt with a pan you preheated on a gas/electric stowe. This is helpful if you don't have an iron around. And it works really fine! It helped me a lot on my American journey when staying at friends' who didn't own an iron or in hostels too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not sure I understood the question. I am a sharing person, so I can share everything :D
