About Me
I am a student of Fudan University and now exchange to Cologne for 1 semester!!! This is my first time in Europe. 2016-2017 will be amazing years in my life. Can not wait to explore the fantastic Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've read a book ' I slept on 84 couches' when I was in middle school, which left profound impression on me. It's amazing that you can travel like a local and throw yourself to the deep end of the city, as if you have been living there for a long time, as if you have homes all around the world!!! This trip will be the begin of my exploration.
Most travel guides pride themselves on authenticity: If you want to do as the Hungarians do, then you have to go to eat at this place, and shop at this store. Yet nothing’s really more authentic than an actual local taking you around to all of his favorite places, telling you things about the city that only someone from that city would know. Whereas most people only get to dip a toe into another culture, Couchsurfing allows me to dive in headfirst. You may not walk away knowing all the details of history and society, but you’ll come a way with a sense of what it’s like to walk around in the shoes of a local, even if just for a few days.

Teach, Learn, Share
Showing up at a stranger’s home, having beers with them, and sleeping on their couches is a pretty intense thing to do for most people. Not knowing what to expect is a nerve-wracking feeling, but also an exciting one, and is believed to be insanely rewarding!!!
