Hi! I'm Ziyi, or just Z for short. I'm from Beijing, China, but I'm currently studying film in New York. Film is a huge part of my life, and at this moment I'm doing a lot of sound design and documentary. Also, I'm learning Spanish now and it's my dream to one day travel around South America and make documentaries there. Oh and, inspired by my friend I’m learning Salsa now, but I can barely dance XD.

When I was in the 8th grade my dad gave me a book about two guys hitchhiking through America and ever since that I have been inspired to see the world and meet all different kinds of people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I read a book about Couchsurfing when I was a kid and I've been dying to try it. I believe people are the actual important part of traveling and I love talking to people from different places and get to know about this world better.
