ABOUT ME
Once upon a time I graduated college. Then I began wandering, mostly aimlessly, with the exception of this weird fascination with Central/Eastern Europe. Now, I'm wandering in Moldova as a Peace Corps volunteer. I work with public health education issues. I do not believe "currents" are a source of illness. I will not fight this battle if confronted.
I like food a lot, but I'm not picky. I'll eat food that has touched the floor. And the top of my foot. Moldova is perfect for me, because the food is local and organic. On my fourth day here, I ate a raw egg.
In my Chicago life, I made yogurt, bread, granola, jam, tried brewing Kvas, and read lots of Michael Pollan. Now I make wine, occasionally rachiu, and look forward to visiting volunteers who have cows.
Traveling is the activity that makes me feel most alive, but I also like to read. A lot.
Discussing politics is the other activity that I never tire of. I really like answering questions about the politics of Eastern Europe. This information rarely intrigues anyone. If you want to surf my couch, send a real request. If you mass request me, I'll mass reject you.
