Sobre Mim

CURRENT MISSION

see the world through others eyes and photograph it!

ABOUT ME

I work in construction and on the weekend enjoy photography (http://mrdavidball.com.au), bushwalking and wakeboarding. So far I've lived in 4 sharehouses, achieved black belt in Taeknown-do and been to PNG to walk the Kokoda trail. There is nothing that beats live music. A music festivial with friends, lots of spare time and cold beer is the closest you'll come to heaven. I enjoy documenting the little unscripted moments in life through my photography.

PHILOSOPHY

"Never become boring" and "The crazy never die". I don't want to be that fat bald guy driving the red convertible BMW. I want to have amazing stories to tell my kids about the world, not about my work.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed throughout America for a year and had couchsurfers on and off as I could. The best bit is hosting people who have hosted you before. That feeling of being able to share your town with someone who has shown you theirs is amazing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed down in Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart (Australia) New York, Boston, Portland, Key West, Vail (All America). I'm clean and am willing to help out with the cooking/cleaning. I'm pretty easy going and don't need to be entertained.
After being a host my self I prefer staying with people for at least 3 days to 5. I find that is the best amount of time to get to know them but not be too much of a bother.
If you need to do something kick me out and I'm sure to have made new friends with someone else while your away.

Interesses

Music, Photography, wakeboarding, firetwirling, bush walking, getting lost in a new city while walking around with my camera, finding a hidden bar in the new city, meeting new friends in the bar, camping under the stars.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Walked the Kokoda trail with my father. Spent the end of the world (May 21st 2011) on a boat in the Miami bay with 5 other couchsurfers. Got to the Grand Canyon on a full moon and watched the sunrise. Experienced the Red Wood forest, driven the PCH and watched a Hockey Final in Canada (with the Canucks winning)

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

I'd like to learn Spanish.
I can karate chop (teach self-defense). I'm an average cook (for a guy) and an alright photographer.
