About Me

I am learning to live in the present and to be myself. After having lived in cities such as Sao Paulo, Medellín, Brighton, Valencia, Barcelona and Rio de Janeiro, I decided to move back to the small island called Lolland where I come from in Denmark. I strive to use what I have learned at these places from brilliant people to make my hometown, Maribo, flourish again. I have now lived here for the last 6 years and a lot of good things are starting to happen.

Football (soccer) used to be what I lived for, but when I got seriously injured, I had to challenge myself and step outside of my comfort zone. I got frustrated, but I found my ways by engaging with open-minded people and non-formal learning.

At the moment, I work with non-formal learning to support personal development of young people and also do courses in European context on mental health and sustainability.

I never plan every step of the future and I love new ideas and to do things spontaneously. I like being outdoors, juggling, being playful, listening to stories and doing things with other people.

For the rest, just ask :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people is the best and funniest way to learn about yourself and the world around you. Couchsurfing provides a platform to meet new people, who don't necessarily share your interests and worldviews.

I have hosted a couple of times with a lot of laughs and learnings as the outcome, and I have surfed at cool people's places and sometimes just grabbed a cup of coffee when I needed new inspiration.

I have opened a place for creative co-creation at the island Lolland, where I live and we have the ambition of attracting all kinds of cool international people. Happy to show you around if you stop by.

Interests

Just ping me, and I will tell you more.

I love to try something new, can you teach me to play the piano, go for it :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Intouchables, The Biggest Little Farm, La Vida Es Sagrada and a lot of others I can't remember.

La sombra del viento, The Do Books (Do story, Do improvise)

Music: Johnny Clegg, Tracy Chapman, Juanes, Outlandish, Tash Sultana, JJ Paulo

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned to juggle and taught others how to get started. I am always amazed, when people learn to juggle very quickly (often after saying, that they were not able)

Teach, Learn, Share

There is always something to learn or unlearn.

If we meet I am sure, that we will find something we can learn from each other.

SHARE:

Stories from all over the world
Climate Fresk facilitation

TEACH:

Juggling
Spanish, Danish, English
Basic coffee brewing skills

LEARN:

How to pack a bicycle in the best way? (planning to do a longer trip from end October 2024)
New juggling tricks
Anything you think is valuable for you. Ready for steep learning curves ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

An informal conversation or a humble story is always a good start. I am also good at asking questions and listening to your story.

I am always open to share my experiences from having lived in six different countries, but I am more eager to learn about the things you know.

I love to meet people with crazy ideas, or a desire to do just a simple action or a random act of kindness. I would love to give feedback on any thoughts or ideas, or help you develop them further.

I absolutely love connecting people accross all kind of borders. If I think you could have a lot of fun and benefit from chatting with someone I know, I would set you up for a date immediately ;)
