About Me
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised here in San Francisco, and even attended university here. After working for a couple years, I had a quarter life crisis, freaked the fuck out and left for a year and a half to travel the world, while playing poker along the way to supplement my savings. That trip helped me visit 32 different countries. Since then I've caught the travel bug that everyone told me about, and made a goal to keep the number of countries I've visited ahead of my age. On a side note, I also taught English part time at an ESL school.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Coming back to a relatively normal life after experiencing the overwhelmingly constant excitement of traveling through different countries can be difficult. The one thing I enjoyed most about traveling was the new connections I made with other people from completely different backgrounds from me. I've got a one bedroom apartment, and I've got a couch, so why not help someone see my beautiful home town at a discount, while providing me with the experiences I don't get on a day to day basis anymore?
Interests
I'm a big sports fan. I have always been a magnet for strange people (no clue why). I talk and smile too much. I am a little bit of an adrenaline junky, and I fucking love food!

Music, Movies, and Books
I try my best not to hate on any type of music, but it really depends what mood I'm going for. As someone who loves feeding off the energy of others, and enjoys being physically active, I am very often listening to EDM. But like I said, I'm open to almost any and all music.
Love movies. If you ask my favorite, the first one that pops into my head is Braveheart.
Books - My most recent Novels were the Game of Thrones series. Otherwise I'm boring and read about poker, fantasy baseball, or books to help with my career.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit my job, left my girlfriend of 6 years, and bought a one way ticket to Barcelona. I also saved a pigeon once, and wrote my college entrance essay about it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know what this section is for....
Here's what I can teach you:
- How to juggle.
- How to make a rose out of a paper napkin.
- How to punch something correctly?
- How to say cheers/some bad words in random languages.
- How to tie your shoes correctly.
- How to not suck at poker.
That's pretty much all I'm worth.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, stories, and a love for life.
