Since graduating college a year ago, I've had a crazy year and realized I need to do the things I've always wanted to do. So I signed up for Birthright Israel and bought a Eurorail pass.

I love food, especially smelling it. I like old things and sunflowers and coins. I can't stand florescent lighting and I love to dress up for an occasion. I'm good at being serious AND being silly; I couldn't do life without both. Growing up in beautiful northern California, I learned to love nature from the start and I'm always excited to get out and see new sights. No matter where I am, I'm always trying to engage people. Unexpected conversations with unpredictable people are where it's at.

As a transition into college, I spent 10 days backpacking the High Sierra back country. It was some of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. My solo day was challenging and exquisite.

Living in Santa Cruz, I see amazing things every day.

I love seeing long distance landscapes from train.
