About Me

ABOUT ME

well, what most people soon notice about me is that i'm calm, flegmatic and that i eat a lot :)
if i had to generalize, i could describe myself as introvert - i feel more comfortable in smaller groups of people and sometimes i enjoy being alone (i used to be shy when i was younger, but i've changed through years-i guess traveling had its role in that).

Interests

Literature, movies, music, foreign languages, cooking, traveling, cycling, yoga... Sometime soon i hope to start hiking&climbing, improve my photo skills, improve my cooking skills, learn how to sew...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Wild Strawberries by Ingmar Bergman (and lot of his other works), Bohemian Life and Drifting Clouds by Aki Kaurismaki, Amores Perrros, I soliti ignoti (M. Monicelli), Blue Velvet (D. Lynch), Brazil (Terry Gilliam), Lolita (S. Kubrick), Breathless (Jean-Luc Godard)..

Music - Asian Dub Foundation,La Phaze, Manu Chao, Amadou&Mariam, Beirut, Nick Cave, Gang of Four, Dead Kennedys, The Pixies, Gogol Bordello, PJ Harvey, The Black Keys...

Books - G. Garcia Marquez & Salman Rusdie (i adore most of their work), Catch 22, One flew over the cuckoo's nest, Hourglass (Danilo Kiš), Notes of a Dirty Old Man (C. Bukowski), Tropic of Cancer...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

well, it's pretty easy to find amazingNESS (does this word even exist?:) while you're travelling on purpose to amazing places (one of such moments that comes to my mind was definitely cycling around angkor wat complex), but i appreciate even more when it happens in everyday life (one of the recent ones and also cycling-related involved stealing my own bike in the middle of the day on crowded square cause i lost the key of the lock...:)
