ABOUT ME

I like to devide my time between the city and country life. I enjoy the peace, balance and relative simplicity of living in the country, but also the diversity and culture that one can find in the city.

I believe in sustainability and environmental conciousness as something that we should all try to incorporate into our lives if we want to keep living on this planet.

When traveling I like to be off the beaten path. I like to volunteer with community building projects and exchange experiences with people I meet on my travels.

Cooking and communal living are usually a big part of my life. I do also like to spend time alone once in a while usually outside of city life.

I studied art sometime ago. I work either as a "illustrator" or as a "carpenter" - I like the contrast of those two types of work.

I like to paint and draw in my free time. I also enjoy re-utilizing old found objects and giving them a new life: rebuilding old furniture, fixing old mac computers, building and renovating with recycled materials...etc

Live in harmony with nature; learn about myself in the process ; try to support local producers instead of large multi-national corporations!; share my experiences with others; learn from others; enough change to keep things interesting is important

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I helped out a bit when the couch surfing collective was based in Montreal a few years back.
Otherwise I meet couch surfers mostly while traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed couches in different parts of Mexico and in the United States and met some great people in many towns!
I spent a great week visiting Keivan in Mexico city a couple of years ago. Also met great people in Houston, El Paso and Austin, Texas.

Intereses
