Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently living in Europe, I would love to explore more of this beautiful continent. Doing it through Couchsurfing is such a fun experience! I am relatively new to this site and originally thought it was just a venue through which brave budget travelers find a place to crash at for a night or two. But I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it is so much more than that. I am now enjoying not only seeing different places, but also meeting new, exciting people and learning about traditions and cultures of different nations as well as discovering what the everyday life looks like for people in the faraway lands.

Unfortunately, I myself am not in a position to host at the moment as I am living in a dorm.

Interests

Traveling, yoga, reading, good movies, good company, board games (Settlers anyone?), music, Pinterest recipes. I've tried water skiing and just skiing. I think I want to try skydiving now (but only after I've seen my greatgrandkids go to school!), ha!

During my last trip (to Krakow), I decided to start a travel tradition of collecting books, magnets, and money from the places I visit. It'd be fun to put together a small public library of books from all around the world, have a heavily 'multinational' fridge door, and become a millionaire, haha!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can knit and, as a child, used to be very good at making clothes for my dolls. We could try to produce a pair of socks or mittens for the next winter!

In addition to my highly positive aura, I have very cute magnets all the way from Central Asia for your personal multinational fridge collection.
